At present, there are more than 150 strains of microorganisms used in microbiological fertilizer products involving microbial functional fungi, bio-organic fertilizers, and composite microbial fertilizers.

In terms of industrial policy and industry orientation, the State Council released the “Bio-industry Development Plan” in 2013 to list microbial fertilizers as high-tech industries and strategic emerging industries. The National Development and Reform Commission has listed microbial fertilizers as one of the priorities for the development of modern agriculture. “The state will support and develop the microbial fertilizer industry in the 13th Five-Year Plan and beyond!” Agricultural experts revealed that in the future, microbial fertilizers will account for about 15% of the total amount of fertilizers and will have an area of over 26.7 million hectares.

According to statistics, domestic microbiological fertilizer production enterprises have exceeded 1000 annual output of 10 million tons of output value of 20 billion yuan. The microbiological fertilizer produced in China is even more than 30 million tons of products exported to the international market.
